Once again, the free software gurus at Sourceforge have resoundingly trumped their commercial competitors with PeaZip, definitely the best of the file compression programs we've found yet here at Software Cocktail.
Look, we know it's hard to get hot and sticky about file compression utilities, but if like us you've ever been frustrated trawling the shareware sites for archive utilities that just do what they're supposed to do, you'll get where PeaZip is coming from straight away. Full support: 7Z, 7Z-sfx, ARC/WRC, BZ2/TBZ2, GZ/TGZ, PAQ/LPAQ/ZPAQ, PEA, QUAD/BALZ, split, TAR, UPX, ZIP.
